Mike Pompeo is issuing alarmist claims about Iran as he considers a run for the presidency. His views are not very different from those of Yossi Alpher, who says the U.S. should have killed Khomeini in 1979 and Israel should be propping up dictatorship thru the Middle East by spying on dissidents. And a liberal Zionist organization, Americans for Peace Now, gives a platform to Alpher’s amorality.
When Biden blamed Hamas for the Gaza war in May, he was ignoring Democratic voters who by more than 4 to 1 blamed Israel for the violence. “That tells you the story right there. The New York Times just ran an article in which an Israeli documentary filmmaker asserts that “Evangelicals are the only significant power outside Israel that is openly supporting the settlements. No one else does.” This is simply not true, and reporter David Halbfinger was a witness to it in the powers of Trump aides David Friedman and Jared Kushner.
