Young American Jews to Get $1000 to be ‘Emissaries of the Jewish State’

Dual loyalty alert. StandWithUs, a pro-Israel group, is paying students $1000 a year to be "campus emissaries for the Jewish state." As Justin Elliott points out, when was it necessary to pay for activists to be activists? Thus the Israel lobby attempts to monetize conviction. Another symptom of too-much-moneyism that is afflicting my people's culture.

    America first response:

I dont mind as long as they register as foreign agents with the DoJ.

If Jews are so rich, as every other post here insists, why would 1000 dollars a year matter? Slither out of that one, scumsuckers.

I see this as indication that Jewish youths in the US don't think the same about issues as all these right-wing lobbies, so much so that they have to pay us to get us to talk about their shit.

    Israel's govt atm = U.S. govt atm

    shitty republicans in charge

I think you are missing the real story somehow. I'm not sure what the real story is, mind you, but I don't think it's about money. Maybe because I live on the euro, but $1000 a year seems a ridiculously small sum of money to do anything. Especially if Jews have suddenly become as money mad as you suggest. I would calculate that $1000 would hardly cover the photocopies and postage involved in being an "active" activist.

I'm sorry my posts are doubling up. I don't know why this is happening.

I hear young American Jews are smoking pot and getting laid as well. Oy – what is wrong with your people.

Maybe this article hints at why they have to be paid to sell AIPAC's line to fellow students, who often have more than a clue of the price paid to date for American Foreign Policy:
