Damn, Phil, you read my mind!

Both members of this ambitious couple have been grooming themselves for the White House since childhood. But there's also an underlying, pathological theme of spousal competition. It's utterly unacceptable to Hillary that her husband made it into the presidency and she didn't. In her rage and denial, he will be Target #1 for blame.

I just pray that she doesn't go postal and wear an explosive belt into the Senate, to destroy others' dreams along with hers. The woman is borderline psychotic and probably should be restrained for her own safety.

i left a message at DNC yday for Howard Dean specifically. if there are any grownups left (doubtful) in the Democratic Party it's time to step in and end this charade. the Clintons are just as liable to blow up the Party and its chances as they are to blow themselves up. in fact they may prefer Obama defeat as they only care about maintaining control of the apparatus to continue their self-aggrandizement. they can do that just as easily in defeat, less so in the case of new Party direction. this election should toll the end of the DLC and the Clintons.

And of course with bush jr. and bush sr., it is filial competition aka one upmanship of the dad complex…

I am sure that if professional psychologists were allowed to interview both families, a rich vein of groundbreaking books would result placed in the Amazon bestseller list.

America has had enough – and we shall take a chance on Obama.

what a friggin nightmare, obama will be smeared as a communist (che guevara cuba connection), and an anti zionist who cannot be trusted to protect the israeli homeland, weak on defense of the american homeland and a muslim manchurian candidate, while bomb-bomb iran neocon mcain may very well be swept into office by default.

  5. Charles Keating says:

Neither Obama or Hillary mentioned the gorilla in the room when debating foreign policy and the nuances of diplomacy. I guess because, as Obama's Ziggy said, its not useful to do so in terms of gaining office. CNN's picked query bench did not do so either.
M & W said last january all the main candidates will continue to echo the AIPAC line, and so are not real friends of their own country or Israel in the long run, where the status quo in "the disputed lands" will continue unabated.

(On another subject, after last night's debate, I see no difference between O & H's illegal immigration stance and McCain's. I noted
that neither O or H mentioned the implication of this united stand on taxpayers funding SS, Welfare, Hospitals, and Prisons–where's the money going to come from for 12-20 million low paid legalizing immigrants amid the credit crunch and its ripples? China and Japan can't wait…

  6. Charles Keating says:

One other thought: Obama, in partial response to being the commander-in-chief, mentioned that currently we spend 2.7 billion dollars a year on all of South America. Interesting to
juxtipose a public taboo: Israel gets 3 billion…

  7. Jim Haygood says:

    Charles,

Don't you find this 'commander-in-chief' meme a little alarming? I heard Rudy Giuliani praise John McShame as 'our next commander-in-chief' when Rudy abandoned the race. Now Hillary is promoting herself as C-in-C material.

Commander-in-chief is a subset of the president's duties — and in peacetime, a minor one. Presumably, the president can end an undeclared war. But it takes a commander-in-chief to start another one. Annoucing one's ambitions to become C-in-C rather than president sounds ominously militaristic to me. Rudy Guiliani probably got the formula from some neocon speechwriter, don't you reckon?

    http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/22/us/politics/22clinton.html?hp

"Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s latest campaign finance report, published Wednesday night, appeared even to her most stalwart supporters and donors to be a road map of her political and management failings."

She has nothing to argue now.

    The three issues:

    1. I've got better answers (They're so similar as to be nearly indistinguishable.)
    2. I manage better (Dashed)
    3. I inspire and include more (Already lost)

keep your stories coming phil, its a breath of fresh air to hear you express this post zionist jewish perspective. The rest of your community that is blind to israels misdeeds in the middleast will wake up to a sad reality one of these day, israel and its zionist sychophants are blinded to the crimes they are commiting against other human beings…these are real live people whose lives dont seem to matter much to zionism…the chosen people seem to be in need of a prophet like zachariah or isaiah to point out to them that they are not in line with their God Jehovah.

but who cares about the historical prophets of old..when they have zionist leaders who are so wise and caring.
