Civil war in the news; Yahoo is fronting a story of the showdown between the IDF and settlers over a house in Hebron. Adam Horowitz writes:
Why is it that Palestinians are always the ones getting attacked in the middle of the "Israeli civil war"? Here we have Israeli settlers responding to one house evacuation in Hebron by the Israeli government by instituting a "price tag" policy on Palestinians. Huh? The worst part:
This story is complimented by the report I just received from the Israeli activist Dorothy Naor:

The true face of zionism, from YNet:
""Niggers don't expel Jews! This isn't what we brought you to Israel for!" are just some of the degrading slurs Border Guard officers reported hearing from masked settlers."

"Why is it that Palestinians must pay the price for Israeli 'civil war'?"
Did Phil like it better when the IDF didn't press hard on the settlers?
Furious settlers fired shots, hurled rocks, set fire to Palestinian homes and fields, and clashed with security forces following the eviction carried out by about 100 officers.
Relatives said three Palestinians suffered gunshot wounds and were evacuated by helicopter, while police said five civilians and two policemen were injured during the eviction itself. Medics said there were further injuries during ensuing clashes.
A cloud of black smoke covered much of the neighbourhood as hardline supporters of the settlers set Palestinian olive fields alight and, according to Palestinian residents, torched two homes and a dozen cars.
In several areas of the city, youths clashed with security forces who responded with tear gas. Witnesses said Israeli soldiers beat up a Palestinian photographer who was involved in a fight with a settler. The photographer was taken to hospital.
My first reaction is to verbally abuse these Jews. I get some pleasure knowing that acts like these are being seen around the world and are a black-eye on all of Israel. I am outraged that this is where my tax money goes. I am in favor of cutting all so called aid to Israel until it removes to the '67 border.
Jim, it is true that aid must be cut, fully and immediately, and that such an eventuality will hurt Israel and its economy (and by extension defense budget), making it rethink its policies, but I'm afraid it won't be enough. Remember, the threat was used before, and aid transfer was even frozen, but the zionists have mastered the art of outmaneuvering those who think they are outmaneuvering them. For it to be effective, worldwide trade bans and sanctions must be imposed on Israel. Remember, these riots are just a political circus, and the IDF is complicit. If Israel is serious about withdrawing and allowing the emergence of a viable Palestinian state, there is a very easy, simple, and utterly quick solution: withdraw the IDF, and let the settlers follow them or get massacred or submit to Palestinian law.
Whoever was complicit in Mumbai, will be much relieved to see the worlds eyes look somewhere else.
Jews getting massacred IS Palestinian law, in Hebron, as it was Palestinian law for Christians in Damour.
Jews getting massacred IS Palestinian law
Well, the Palestinians sure aren't doing a very good job of upholding the law. A few helicopter gunships, armored cars, tanks etc would probably help with needed enforcement.
Jews getting massacred by Palestinians? Are you insane?
10 to 1 Palestinian children deaths to Israeli children deaths. 4.5 to 1 Palestinian civilian deaths to Israeli civilian deaths.
Israel demolishes Palestinian homes. Israeli imposes curfews and checkpoints. Israel jails Palestinians without justification . Israel fragments Palestinian societies purposefully with each new wall. Etc. etc. etc.
Only a deeply biased person would think Israelis are suffering more than the Palestinians, let alone being 'massacred' by them. Such pretentious and cynical garbage.
God is watching all of this.
This is actually very encouraging: the provocative tendency innate in all state police and military power, the tendency to provoke the civilian population into ill-judged demonstrations of dissent which can then be shown on global network television, has now started to work against 'the Jews' rather than for them.
I have a very strong feeling about getting onto the next stage with this. As I hope I have managed to make clear over time, my approach to the infamous 'Jewish problem' is participant-observational; I see it as necessary for me to 'become a Jew' so as to 'solve the problem' from 'within'. However, obviously, I have to become the sort of Jew who is part of the solution rather than part of the problem, and at the same time, I have to bring something new, and decisive, to the area of the 'kulturkampf' which dominates Jewish life (still dominates it, but in a form suitable to the era). This is propose to do primarily by unearthing and exhibiting what I call the 'psychedelic' or 'hippie' aspects that the settler enterprise had in its 1970s heyday, under the supposedly 'kabbalistic' direction of Zvi Yehuda Kook (died 1982). I propose to use these to construct a path back to israeli civic normality for the "hilltop youth".
A good place to start would be with a complete library of back issues of 'nekuda'. Of course, this has never been translated into english en bloc.
I imagine that the West Bank, already full of CIA agents, will shortly fill up with NATO troops as well. Psychedelic sunbeams will be hard to find:

Come to think of it, the 'psychedelic' element is very much appreciated in the USA and causes a considerable amount of confusion. People who follow Rense.com may have noticed that Barry Chamish no longer graces its web pages, but for a long time he was greatly beloved by the Rense.com readership, possibly because he believed that UFO's were visiting Israel. I kept telling people that, although he was a self-described 'anti-zionist,' this didn't stop him from being a Kach supporter, but somehow they just couldn't understand this.
How depressing. The settlers engage in the clearest cynicism possible in trying to turn an Israeli vs. Israeli conflict into a jewish vs. Anyone Else conflict by attacking utterly innocent Palestinians who just happen to live nearby and what happens? Even the most reasonable Israeli partisans seemingly can't resist the manipulation that they must know they are the target of to circle the tribal wagons instead of just simply and absolutely and unconditionally condemning such outrages and insisting on punishment.
What a simple solution for the settlers. What a portend of the future. Even desecrating arab/moslem cemeteries and writing "Mohammed is a pig" on arab/moslem houses isn't a bridge too far that can't be equivocated away apparently.
How in the world can this ever end in any way happy for Israel? Or for the jews in the rest of the world? Who is going to forget this when jewish cemeteries and places of worship and homes in the rest of the world are desecrated with swastikas and the like?
Seems like it's becoming ever clearer that the central conflict over there isn't between Israelis and Palestinians or jews versus muslims, it's between jewry itself, tragically enough.
Chamish was also of the view that the admission by the Shabak of having recruited someone (Avishai Raviv) inside the jewish terrorist cell that eventually killed Rabin, and indeed the admission that their inside man encouraged the killer, constituted evidence of a 'plot' by Peres to have Rabin eliminated (in league, I believe with teh Vatican).

Why do Americans have to pay the price for Israel? That's the real question in my mind. Why not just quit funding and supporting Israel in total? Is Israel somehow my burden as long as the 1967 borders are observed? Israel wouldn't be my concern even if the 1947 borders were observed. And I don't have to know obscure Jewish or Zionist history to know what treason is, or how to deal with it, what isn't American tradition, or what is in my best interest. Israel's supporters in the U.S. need to be rooted out and dealt with.
A small example of why uber Jews like Wexler should not be allowed to have any political office in the US.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
From the JPost:
Wexler: Netanyahu can work well with Obama
By HERB KEINON
There is no doubt US President-elect Barack Obama could work well with Likud head Binyamin Netanyahu, should the latter become Israel's next prime minister, Congressman Robert Wexler, one of Obama's most prominent early supporters in the Jewish community, told The Jerusalem Post Wednesday
Prefacing his comments with the caveat that he did not want to meddle in Israeli politics, and that it was up to Israelis to pick their leader, Wexler said, "I know that Obama and Netanyahu have met on at least two occasions. I was with Barack when he met with Netanyahu at National Airport in Washington a year-and-a-half ago.
Wexler, a Democrat from Florida who is chairman of the House Foreign Relations Committee's subcommittee on Europe, was in Israel for some 36 hours for meetings.
During this time he met with Netanyahu, as well as Mossad director Meir Dagan, Foreign Ministry officials, senior officials from Military Intelligence, and Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salaam Fayad.
"One thing needs to be clear as day, and that is that the boss here is the president-elect, and the president-elect has an A-plus record on Israel," Wexler said.
"His commitment to the very special relationship between the US and Israel is sacrosanct, and that will be demonstrated in each and every individual he has appointed to top national security and foreign policy positions. Period."
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
So what is it we have here? A US congressman goes to a foreign country, Israel, for 36 hours of meetings. For what purpose? Why does he think it is permissible for a US congress member to take it upon himself to go to a foreign country and share or get information and make comments and endorsements regarding a foreign country's political candidates?
Do Jews know what a CONFLICT OF INTEREST means? Do they understand that
Americans consider their activities in regard to Israel to be treason?
Wexler it should be remembered is the Jewish congressman who wrote to Bush demanding that the FBI halt their prosecution of the AIPAC spies, saying the FBI was anti semitic.
This madness will end eventually. But most likley not until it has totally ruined the United States.
This is but one recent tiny example there are others far more shocking. It boggles the mind how insane, how Orwellington these zionist jews and congress are. The 'old carnards' are true…they are a nation within a nation. I feel sorry for the normal jews who aren't part of this. When the final act closes they are the ones who will take the brunt, the zionist will already have moved on to their next hiddie hole to subvert another country for their own delusions of power and the benefit of Israel. But frankly by that time I doubt there will any Israel left. However that won't bother them, they will just start the Zionist Cause all over again with a new holocaust for fund raising purposes.
Stupid, stupid,stupid.
Just because they're not very good at it doesn't mean it's not the norm…a quiescent, pietistic Jewish community was wiped from Hebron in 1929. Even the great peacenik Edward Said remembered friends of his father saying, "We'll just bring in a bunch of Khalilis {i.e. Palestinians of Hebron] with sticks and drive the Jews out [of Palestine, since the Jews were already 'out' of Hebron]."
500 settlers in H2, 120,000 Palestinians in Hebron's Old City. Some "ethnic cleansing."
Because Israel, instead of being a centralized, Jacobin state, is actually a very strong state with diffuse centers of power, which leaves people at the periphery free to act unless there is actually someone to oppose them. The security guards of Kiryat Arba–who might be residents, or who might be from a contractor–should have notified police immediately, at the very least. Hopefully the settlers will be somewhat shamed or deterred by video of known individuals committing arson, which should provide evidence for prosecution.
This is turning into a direct challenge to the rule of law, which the state is not going to countenance in the case of a flashpoint like Hebron, this time not having the excuse that the settlers were set upon by Palestinians after their act of terror and that therefore the case is closed.
your decontextualised, dehistoricised comparisons are meaningless, Eurosabra.
