Israeli tanks have reportedly entered Gaza. Where are all the liberal internationalists?

Another thing: They always lectured us about the need to support moderates over extremists in democratic societies. Where is the moderation in Israel?

    yep, they've gone in, taking advantage of the fact that they control just about all the available illumination, the Strip being more or less out of power. That will make it very messy – tanks 'accidentally' driving straight over people, that kind of thing.

    It seems that an unspoken agenda of the Israeli state, as they sandbag U.S. diplomacy and attack American symbols, is to express their contempt for Israel's patron state.

    As counterproductive as it may sound, it's understandable on a couple of grounds. One is that unmerited charity breeds contempt, especially when the U.S. actually tries to exercise its prepogative as a stakeholder in Israeli actions. Tweaking America's nose is also a signature form of Israeli one-upmanship, arrogantly signaling the world who's boss.

    Or so they think. Israeli hubris has really gone too far this time. Blowing up an American school is going to seriously inflame the American street. Aren't we getting fed up with being mocked by this shitty little gnat's-ass country?

    Take your Shoah and shove it, Israel.

    – 9/11 for instance. The three WTC demolitions were carried out by an IDF expert sapper unit brought in by Silverstein and Levy, both avouded hard core right wing zionists. It is totally self evident and the only rational explanation of the collapses. The Pentagon attack was arranged by Cheney as a sort of cherry on top. The USA is really not a very healthy country, is it?
