"I'm surprised how buoyant people are given the circumstances [CNN's Ben Wedeman observes]. Talking to
them, I find morale high and an overall sense of defiance. At one point
I saw a young boy on a donkey cart, unaware I was observing him. As an
Israeli jet passed overhead, he shook a fist at the sky."
One can't extinguish a thirst for justice unless one
exterminates those who long for it. Remember how many blacks were
hosed, lynched, beaten, mauled, and humiliated? We shall overcome they

Here's Gerald Kaufman, a Jewish Labor MP declaring Israel to be in line with Nazi actions. "My grandmother was ill in bed when the Nazis came to her home town
of Staszow. A German soldier shot her dead in her bed," said Kaufman,
who added that he had friends and family in Israel and had been there
"more times than I can count…. My grandmother did not die to provide
cover for Israeli soldiers murdering Palestinian grandmothers in Gaza."
