Not "dual loyalty" — this is single loyalty, but not to the US.

"How vile and despicable war seems to me! I would rather be hacked to pieces than take part in such an abominable business."

    ~ Albert Einstein, self-hating Jew

    Mr J L-D,

Wasn't Einstein the guy who sent the letter to FDR in 1939 advocating developing the Atomic Bomb? Wasn't he also pro-Zionist? Wasn't he offered the job of President of Israel?

  5. Judy says:

Geez, we *always* fly the American flag at Palestinian solidarity rallies in Philly!

    "Wasn't he also pro-Zionist?"

    PM: Well, no, he wasn't

The oft-quoted Mr. Einstein said "Nationalism is an infantile disease. It is the measles of mankind.” He lamented, “Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism – how passionately I hate them!” Revealingly Einstein stated: “My awareness of the essential nature of Judaism resists the idea of a Jewish state with borders, an army, and a measure of temporal power, no matter how modest. I am afraid of the inner damage Judaism will sustain – especially from the development of a narrow nationalism within our own ranks, against which we have already had to fight strongly, even without a Jewish state.”

  7. Paul Malfara says:

More words of wisdom from Einstein, who really was a genius.

In his testimony in January 1946 before the Anglo-American Committee of Inquiry, and in answer to the specific question whether refugee settlement in Palestine demanded a Jewish state, Einstein stated: "The State idea is not according to my heart. I cannot understand why it is needed. It is connected with narrow-mindedness and economic obstacles. I believe that it is bad. I have always been against it. He went further to deride the concept of a Jewish commonwealth as an "imitation of Europe, the end of which was brought about by nationalism."
