Is Elliott Abrams capable of ‘enhancing the nation’s moral discourse’?

One of the goals of the Holocaust Memorial is to "enhance the nation's moral discourse." Well Elliott Abrams got a last minute 5-year appointment from George Bush to the council of the Memorial. Abrams pushed the Iraq war as well as skulduggery in Central America. Also Michael Mukasey who approved waterboarding, and Michael Chertoff. I have to say, I've always admired Chertoff, from the time I watched him in Whitewater hearings. A straightforward guy, I never felt that he was working for any other country but ours!   (Phil Weiss)

  1. Q: "Is Elliott Abrams capable of 'enhancing the nation's moral discourse'?"

    A: HELL NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Elliott Abrams to Council on Foreign Relations

"Jim Lobe has just confirmed that outgoing Special Assistant to President George W. Bush and Senior Director for Near East and North African Affairs and Deputy National Security Adviser for Global Democracy Strategy Elliott Abrams will be joining the Council on Foreign Relations team in February.

Richard Haass, President of the Council on Foreign Relations, reportedly considered and declined a possible role as one of several Obama administration envoys to the Middle East.

Now, it is vital to keep Haass exactly where he is — because the only thing worse than hearing that Elliott Abrams will be joining Max Boot and some others on the CFR payroll is learning that he might have become President of the organization as well." – STEVE CLEMONS @ "The Washington Note"

New group, same spineless Jews hoping they are not next on the Islamic Fascist dinner menu.

crimson Ghost, you are actually stating that you are ignorant? Interesting admission.

It appears that Jordan killed twenty's of thousands of Palestinians and Kuwait ethnically cleansed hundreds of thousands of Palestinians. So the real monster could be you or any number of Arabs.

I would like rather more certainty than 'felt' if I was an American. He is in charge of US Homeland Security, yet is surely a Zionist. Did he repatriate the hi-fiving Israeli movers while at Justice? If not, could he possibly say so? Wayne Madsen may or may not be the most reliable source, but no-one ever seems to bother trying to disprove his assertions; they just ignore him.

Sunshine needed, not silence, if the deadly nightshade of conspiracy theories aren't to take root.

  4. Possibly Chertoff has changed, but I remember him as quite Zionist in high school.

Zionists are quite good to giving Ashkenazi racism, extremism, and genocidalism a patina of patriotism.

To be fair back I have to admit that I was sympathetic to Zionism in the 60s and 70s.

Are you kidding about Michael Chertoff? The guy responsible for some of the most brutal practices against immigrants in decades? This guy has overseen violent, warrantless home raids, increased racial profiling, abusive detention facilities, separation of immigrant parents from children and the destruction of entire communities through mass deportations. He may not be Abrams-level, but he's very bad news. It's just shameful that he's at the Holocaust Memorial.

When one sees the appointment of Iraq-warmongers to the Holocaust museum, it's almost as if Israel/jewish politics in the United States had something to do with our invasion of Iraq.
