The video clip shows Witty’s theory of American/English real estate deed title claim in actual action by Israel. It’s disgusting.
Israelis say Obama shouldn’t be the zoning commissioner:

Zionists like to paint the Jews as victims in the Palestinian housing dispute, but somehow it’s never the Jews being evicted by Arabs. Somehow when Jews are living in housing where Arabs used to have title, it’s too inconvenient to remove them.
So this is what ‘natural growth’ looks like.
Natural growth is like circumcision. It’s not natural at all.
shame, shame, shame… the whole world is watching.
George Mitchell knows he’s being rope-a-doped here by his Israeli negotiators. As Ehud Barak keeps yada-yada-yada’ing over “natural growth,” the Israelis are in hyperdrive attempting to obsolete the two-state solution. Obama’s speech in Cairo was like a starter’s pistol whereby the Zionists have to Pac-Man as much Palestinian land as possible. While the Obama administration “negotiates” with the Likudniks, the Palestinians are being tormented more than ever, their farmland being burned, olive trees overturned, IDF firing upon Arabic farmers and Rachel-Corrie-killing modified Caterpillars being used to destroy Jerusalem homes.
Where is Bono when you need him?
This will be a good opportunity to see how far the Obama administration will back down to Israel. Mitchell may make a comment, Clinton may make a comment, even Obama may make a comment. Maybe they’ll say that Netanyahu isn’t being “helpful.”
But let’s see what they do. Which will be … nothing, as usual.
I agree that Obama will most likely do little.
Then again, the democrats have always taken progressives for granted–until they need some money.
The only reason I voted for Obama is that he seemed to be ever so “slightly” to the left of Hillary on foreign policy issues.
In Obama’s favor, I would say that his primary duty in my book is to get some sort of public option healthcare passed, not solve the I-P conundrum. Can he do both? I hope so.
I did not expect Obama to take as much as a stand as he has on the Israeli occupation. But having taken the stand, he’ll make the situation far worse when he backs down and gives Netanyahu a tacit green light for ethnic cleansing all of Greater Jerusalem, which extends in his mind as far as the Jordan river.
If he didn’t mean to act, he should have kept quiet and said nothing.
Sorry to say Bono is now one from another group that has either lost his balls or had them removed. He knows good and well scince his band member is affiliated with an israeli wife, that would mean the break up of the band most likely. Unless Bono is just keeping a lid on it to save face…anyone can say there are terrible things happening from both sides.
1). The rockets being fired into settlements are legal as a form of defense, normally defenders are just that defending.
2) . United States Financing and the United Nations / ICC can and should stop the occupation immediately.
3). If all arab countries along with the million or so Palestinians bum rushed they may loose ad loose very big however it is a different day in time and push has come to shove and a possibility exist for the end of a zionist state to become a reality but at what cost to Judism …and why have the voices of reason allowed this to continue we may not ever really know, my guess would be that if an illegal occupation and control of another countries resources (USA) are at your disposal would you allow them to feed off you …no. Which makes me wonder if the three branches of government here are or were ever (including presidents) representing the USA at all. Because we have and it makes no sense. The only thing that will be accomplished is hate and more death.
Sure they will have all Palestine and other places (countries) too but at what cost.
A NWO will not work, I believe a revolution would incure from it possibly and with the thin stretched thin military. But then again there are unmanned drones of all types…could we as human beings be faced with our exstinction at this point in time. We will see after October.
new article in NYT misses E Jerusalem evictions.. (or omits as ‘unhelpful’)
link to nytimes.com
I am surprised at the NON existing un has played or even the international criminal courts have played the same hand in the settlements or any of the land stolen by the zionist occupation. There is a lot brewing from the reading I have been doing, and I can not imagine how the zionist or any supporters in the illegal tactics used by the illegal occupiers are going to avoid a mess that will surely take a toll on the zionist population world wide. Do they not think they will be hated for it ? or even worse they don’t understand there are consiquences to the actions. For ever action there is a re action, and I do not believe the world will let the lamebrain excuse that god gave it , or it was theirs at one time in history. Does that mean that they can do NO WRONG or have NO LAWS to follow. Poppycock !! Lets open a cable network and expose the daily illegalities or should I say, “the ones whom have no laws” ! The occupation MUST end in its entirety and those who are not there legitimately should be exiled out of the country. CAN I ASK WHY OBAMA HAS ALLOWED HIMSELF TO BE A PATSY LAPDOG OF THE OCCUPATION ! IT IS BAD ENOUGH HE HAS DONE NOTHING AS HE PROMISED!!! OUST OBAMA ! THEN LETS SEND A MESSAGE TO THE ICC, THE WORLD IS WAITING FOR THEM TO RESPOND TO THE, ” NEVER AGAIN” LIE, WHEN IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN ALLLOWED FOR THEM TO DO THESE ATROSITIES/. WOULD SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO LOGIC OR EVEN COMMON SENSE? DOES THE OCCUPATION BELIEVE IT CAN SURVIVE IT AND JUST KILL OFF EVERYONE IN THEIR WAY ? THEY Are wrong it will backfire in OCTOBER and then we will have problems and I can see the nostradomous oredictions comming true. PLEASE respond or clairify these so I may see the light.
With all due respect my friend, Obama showed his colors before taking office. First, in the appointments he made – that is, by what he did. Second, by what he did not do, especially when the massacre of the Palestinians was taking place. In essence, what Obama said was “I am not going to say anything, do what you like, but make sure you’re done by the time I take office.” Essentially, there is no plan by the Obama administration to stop the current course because there is no “or else,” there are no consequences levied at the Israeli government.
Yep, agreed.
Obama has done very little different from his announced campaign positions.
What is being done here does bring up the question of legitimacy, it shakes the Israeli state to the core as any type of genuine entity. Every institution is skewed by the occupation, every court is implicated – there is no where to hide. The schools cannot teach the truth, the religious institutions cannot practice traditional Judaism, the court systems cannot delivery an equitable judgment, the institutions of higher education are implicated in the support, everything is vitiated by injustice and cruelty.
Don’t get me wrong, I can make similar comments about other “nations,” and have done so, but that is not the subject here is it? It is a country that claims to be doing all of these things in our name, and as citizens of the USA (if you happen to be) with our money – I do not own it, I reprobate it.
Another question that has to be asked is simple, if the Israelis are gutting the two state solution than what is the plan? I assure you it is not a one state solution. The attacks upon the Palestinians have been intensifying and accelerating, it is rapidly approaching a critical point. Let me give you a definition of what is taking place –
“…destruction of essential foundations of the life of national groups, with the aim of annihilating the groups themselves [even if all of the individuals in the group themselves survive]. The objective of such a plan would be the disintegration of political and social institutions, of culture, language, national feelings, religion, and the economic existence of national groups, and the destruction of personal security, liberty, health, dignity…” Lemkin, Chapter 9, Axis Rule, definition of genocide.
Apartheid was a good description during Oslo, but it has developed well beyond this now. You might disagree with me, that is your right, the only question is does it match the facts on the ground?
CORRECT DEFINITIONS
Excellent post, thanks.
YouTube is at it again. There are NO COMMENTS allowed on this video on the YouTube site. Astounding — I’m sure Foxy Abe Foxman got to the YouTubers to be certain to shut down any criticism of Israel’s actions here.
This is amazing. It’s happening at warp speed, even as all the chatter goes on about the “peace process.” The world is watching and we’re sitting on our hands.
Don’t feel bad Oscar, the moment I link or embed a youtube video it is removed…lol I’m not joking
Oscar, it’s up to the person who uploads the video to decide whether or not he or she wants to allow comments. This is an Al Jazeera English video, and AJE never allows comments on their YouTube videos, presumably to keep people focused on the journalism and the story and not on fighting with each other in comment fields..
Thanks for this, Nth R. I should have known that. After seeing how YouTube messed with Max Blumenthal’s “Feeling the Hate in Jerusalem,” I’ve got all kinds of conspiracy theories brewing on how treat the I/P scenario, especially since Abe “Foxy” Foxman has offered to be their ombudsman on Middle East issues.
Please calm down folks. I did not expect Obama to take on the lobby as directly as he has. But he did. One conseqence of his actions is that he placed on the front pages of the international press Israel’s attempts to ethnically cleanse the West Band and East Jerusalem. This story of the eviction of the two houses and 9 Palestinian families is being played as top stories in the European press. BBC News of all places gave this story top billing in today’s headlines. The throwing out on the street of the Palestinians and the rapid movement of zionist settlers into their homes is the big story. I agree it is painfull to watch, but it is being shown throughout the world today. Thank Obama for this change in what is considered news. Israel took a big beating today in the PR department. It is called ‘The Whole World is Watching’. For those seniors out there you know what I am saying.
Maybe Obama will invite the parties to have a beer on the White House lawn, their choice, House pays? Maybe he thinks his Cairo speech could’ve been re-calibrated?
Sy, very true. After switching to decaf, I’ve come to the same conclusion. Good post.
The US Embassy sent a protest letter to the Israeli Ministry and today is taking the
protest higher–Obamarama remains silent:

In September of 1948 the UN Chief Mediator in Israel was Count Bernadotte. He had recommended that the Palestinians [who had been forced out of Jerusalem and the surrounding towns and villages by a series of increasingly brutal Zionist massacres of both christian and moslem Palestinians] be allowed immediate right of return to their homes.
Bernadotte became a marked man and on 17 September his convoy was stopped in Jerusalem [not far from the latest crime scene] by an Israeli army jeep and men in Israeli army uniforms. He was assassinated together with the senior UN Observer Colonel Andre Serot.
Strangely Serot was travelling in Bernadotte’s car in order to thank him for personally rescuing his wife from a Nazi concentration camp.
Who will be the next Bernadotte? One of Obama’s posse? Mitchell? Jones? Maybe in October?
