How about those that say it “shouldn’t be done”?
Who knows what “it” is in this hypothetical case?
What does “it” mean, anyway? I mean, it’s such a subjective term. What does “what” mean, for that matter?
But Witty knows why Phil placed this quote. I certainly read “it” as working for the one-state solution. If so, the quote applies to me. I still support the two-state solution but I have no business standing in the way of those who are working for one state. If they succeed, against the odds it should be added, their solution will be superior to the exclusive Jewish state one.
No no no! Your missing the point of Witty’s arguments! We need to be quibbling over semantics, not confronting human rights violations! Because using pronouns to criticize Israel is a form of racism.
