The chilling video that was posted by Paul Woodward here earlier (since updated) has been circulating around the internet, and shows Israeli commandos kicking and beating someone and then firing shots. The shots seem to be fired at extremely close range.
People are claiming that the victim in the video is the 19-year-old Turkish-American named Furkan Dogan. It’s impossible to tell from that video if that is true.
But a report from the Guardian on the autopsy conducted by Turkey’s council of forensic medicine provides more clues as to the fate of Dogan:
A 19-year-old, named as Fulkan Dogan, who also has US citizenship, was shot five times from less than 45cm [18"], in the face, in the back of the head, twice in the leg and once in the back.
Israel is obviously hiding a lot, and I wonder if, hidden somewhere on the footage that Israel confiscated, is more evidence that shows how Dogan died.
The video and all the other testimonies coming out from the survivors of the flotilla massacre clearly show the need for an independent, international investigation, and not an Israeli whitewash where soldiers would not be questioned.
