What a day! Our fundraising drive is over and successful, and we want to offer deep gratitude to our readers. We reached our goal of $40,000 (including a matching grant of $10,000 from an anonymous friend) in just under a month. The response has been a great boon to us: it tells us that this site can become a lasting presence on the internet, and that we can begin to pound in the tent stakes, by giving ourselves a more professional look and bringing on an assistant in weeks and months to come.
This fund-drive is all our readers' contribution. Yes and a lot of those readers are also writers, who have contributed to this site as thinkers, reporters, and story-tellers. Thank you! We want to be worthy of your good opinion, and we'll try to follow through in days ahead. But meantime, we need to express our humble thanks, and get this post off the top of the site!

super congrats!!!!!
Congratulations! And kudos to the anonymous friend for his/her matching grant. :-)
Great, Phil. Now you need to know who you are married to–you gotta go where Larry David has not gone, either in real life or in Curb Your Enthusiasm. For a good kick-start, I suggest you visit Dick Witty at his home (protected 24/7 by the goys he despises).
Congrats!!
And you gotta love those anonymous friends!!!
Keep up the great work!
well done!
Excellent! I’d almost forgotten what good news feels like. Thank you. . . .
Awesome, this is great news, congrats!
On a related issue, dear to the hearts of MW:
Which human group has the higest IQ, and what does this mean morally? Asheknazi Jews, zero. ieet.org/index.php/IEET…
huh?
Citizen was referring to a bizarre article which claims that Ashkenazim are smarter than everyone else. Sounds like a case of selection bias and circular reasoning.

congratulations , best wishes & and plenty of sumud continuing on your pathbreaking quest.
i’m pretty sure James Chaney, Andrew Goodman and Michael Schwerner would approve of the cyber freedom riders of today, tomorrow and beyond.
Congratulations! Thanks again for all that mondo contributors do towards I/P education. I don’t know what you mean by giving Mondoweiss a “more professional look” but I hope that you don’t compromise the beautiful simplicity of the site with grids, plaid, bubble fonts, or any other such fancy mishmash. Mondoweiss is a favorite site of mine because of the content but also because the of the simple beauty of the colors, type face, organization, etc… Thanks again for all of your hard work! We love u y’all.
Agreed. I appreciate the simplicity and reader-welcoming design of this site.
Alf mabrouks!
I’m kinda hoping that this means our comments are gonna be posted more promptly. It’s a dull drag not being able to post in real-time, or as close to it.
Congrats …and thanks for all you do!
