Racism thriving on the streets of Tel Aviv: ‘Out with the Africans’

This video was taken last New Year’s Eve at a rally advocating the deportation of African asylum-seekers in south Tel Aviv.  A speaker with a bullhorn incites the crowd and demands the Israeli government round up African asylum-seekers:

Start to bring in buses and and get people out of here! There are 12,000 openings in the desert internment camp….Go home! Get out of my country!

After filmaker David Sheen captures the stunned expression on the faces of some of the asylum-seekers, he then pans his camera around and we realize he has positioned himself between the racist screaming crowd and their target.

As the crowd gathers at parliamentarian MK Michael Ben-Ari’s open office door Sheen zooms in on a photo of Rabbi Meir Kahane which hangs prominently in view next to a Otzma LeYisrael (“Might for Israel”) campaign poster of Ben-Ari and Arieh Eldad.

This is another excellent video by Sheen who has been tracking the movement to expel African asylum-seekers in Israel. He is accompanied on the streets of Tel Aviv by Max Blumenthal as an aggressive thug lunges at him and threatens to break his camera.

The only problem with Max is that there’s only one of him.

Start to bring in the trains, load them up and get these people out of here! There are 12,000 openings in the concentration camps…..Go away! Get out of my country!
Maybe the asylum seekers thought they would be sheltered by people who had experienced oppression….well they found out didn’t they?

The Wikipedia page mistranslates the Hebrew name.

    Otzma LeYisrael

is more accurately translated as Might for Israel, a sort of prominent might, something that is dominant, massive in scale.

For example, the Hebrew Atzum, which comes from the same root as Otzma means Humungous, Immense.

“Strength” is to sticks/guns what “Might” is to nuclear weapons. It’s quite a few notches up the scale.

How crazy do you have to be to scream at people you don’t know in the middle of the street like that.

Hateful, violent racist..pure and simple. Hateful racist. Far more racism in the Jewish population than anyone really likes to talk about. I have heard this racism with my own ears. Hateful racism.

MK Ben Ari is often the man behind the bullhorn at these nasty demos.
So what happened to the law that was supposed to prohibit parties that followed the Kach line from being able to stand in the elections? Has it lapsed/been cancelled?

“A candidates list shall not participate in elections to the Knesset if its objects or actions, expressly or by implication, include one of the following:

    1 negation of the existence of the State of Israel as the state of the Jewish people;
2 negation of the democratic character of the State
    3 incitement to racism”

    ( link to en.wikipedia.org )

So many of these extremists want to see democracy superseded by Jewish law.
And here we see, blatantly, incitement to racism.
Just what will be the upshot of these elections in terms of Israel’s relations with our nations? Can the US continue to turn a blind eye while Kahanism plays out?

      “1 negation of the existence of the State of Israel as the state of the Jewish people;
2 negation of the democratic character of the State
      3 incitement to racism”

As an exercise in the most elementary logic, 1 negates 2, and 3 is unnecessary because 1 is a maximum of incitement.

In fact, the need for any incitement to racism seems even smaller than it was in Germany in the heyday of the NSDAP. Couldn’t be there then but got told about it quite thoroughly. There it was mainly confined to fanatic, uniformed hooligans and the dictatorship itself. Now and here, it is in a majority of the general population and is more than the policy of the “democratic” government, it is its very raison d’être.

  10. Citizen says:

Anyone think Obama has ever seen a video clip like this? Or the other ones reeking of pure evil hate, such as those hot linked above by Mndwss? None of us really know of course, but I was wondering what readers imagine about Obama’s real awareness of this evil and that he’s de facto supporting it and/or funding it, along with Congress and our mainstream media. He has acted in the past so that we know he is always quickly aware of anything, even individual instances, involving blacks as possible victims in America. And he has spoken out in such individual cases… Think he knows Bibi supports this? Does he think his handlers, especially Axelrod, know about this?

I cannot imagine he does not know, given all we know of him. It sure speaks to the power of the Israel Lobby. The tiny client nation has really occupied big strapping us (through the matrix of establishment Jews that have replaced, in terms of power, the old WASP establishment–) for the First time in world history. And it’s all done legally.

    • sardelapasti says:

      Citizen:
“And [Obama] has spoken out in such individual cases…”
He speaks easy. When he speaks it invariably means he’ll act in the opposite direction; check the record.

    • Kathleen says:

I think Obama knows. And from what I have read he is well connected with the internet. Who knows maybe he even comes here to read the truth. Do you President Obama? Do you?

      • i just got off the phone with him kathleen. he reads everything i post here, follows me on twitter too. not sure about the rest of the site tho. i’ll have to ask him next time we chat.

Well, it’s ironic that this one guy said he was born there, but I doubt his grandfather was born there while 100s of thousands of Palestinians who were born there were expelled. The ironies of it all.
