Yesterday more than 200 people gathered to protest in front of the AIPAC Policy Conference in Washington DC.
Expose AIPAC is a coalition effort by activists from Codepink, Interfaith Peace Builders and the US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation.
Activists spent the weekend discussing Palestinian rights, BDS campaigns and the role AIPAC plays in US government and foreign policy creation.
During a break time in the AIPAC conference schedule, over 100 protesters participated in an action outside the Convention Center doors to honor Palestinian political prisoners and hunger strikers.
Kneeling with their eyes covered, protesters brought the impacts of Israeli policies in Palestine to Washington DC.
After reading the names of prisoners one by one, protesters sat in silence as AIPACers walked out of the conference.
