The coalition opposing the Iran Deal is coming into focus. As Congress returns from summer recess in September, the Republican presidential clown rodeo will roll into town to take on the Iran Deal. Sen. Ted Cruz and reality television star Donald Trump will appear at a D.C. rally organized by the Tea Party Patriots, the Center for Security Policy, and the Zionist Organization of America to oppose the deal as the congressional debate begins.
Although short on foreign policy experience, the ZOA’s Mort Klein is happy to have Trump on his side. Klein explains, “I think it’s of great value to have a person who will likely command coverage of this rally, of this issue, like Donald Trump would be able to. I think it’s a good thing. I don’t care if he sucks the air out of the room.” Trump is on record as saying the Iran Deal will lead to a “nuclear holocaust.” Cruz has said the deal will make “the Obama administration the world’s leading financier of radical Islamic terrorism.” I hope this rally is broadcast.

Atlanta, Ga. – On September 9 – the eve of the Congressional votes to disapprove of President Obama’s Iran Nuclear Deal – Tea Party Patriots, the Center for Security Policy, and the Zionist Organization of America, will stage a rally on the West Lawn of the Capitol to call on Members of Congress to reject the deal. Additional specifics will follow as they are finalized.
Today, keynote speaker Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) announced he has invited businessman Donald Trump to speak, and Trump has accepted.
“On the heels of our successful day of activism with supporters, during which protests urging Congress to disapprove of the dangerous Iran Nuclear Deal were held at 185 different local congressional and senatorial offices across the country, we look forward to our next round of protests on September 9 on the West Lawn of the Capitol,” said Jenny Beth Martin, the CEO and co-founder of Tea Party Patriots.
“The American people have not forgotten the 444 days their compatriots were held against their will by the Iranian regime. Nor have they forgotten that we are only days removed fromAyatollah Khamenei’s repeated calls for ‘Death to America,’” continued Martin. “This ‘deal’ does not prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons; it virtually guarantees it. Congress must reject this terrible deal.”

There is no doubt that this deal is not good for Israel, or to its friend Saudi Arabia. The idea being to keep the leading members of the ‘arc of resistance’ [Iran, Syria and Hezbollah] excluded in financial and trade terms from the community of nations, hence the attempt at regime change in Syria and the designation of Hezbollah as a “radical Islamist terrorist organization”. In my opinion Hezbollah exists as a legitimate resistance movement and will indeed profit from this deal [as it should] that’s what friends and allies are for. This rejection of the deal has more to do with Israeli and Saudi hegemony in the region than nuclear weapons. The ‘arc’ is slowly achieving a balance of power, to the effect that Israel has to think twice before mowing the lawn again. As time passes the inevitable and expanding conventional military powers of the ‘arc’ will mean the destruction of Israel in the event that Israel or the US wage war on it.
Is it possible to still make suggestions to the organizers?
I’ld to the Tea Party Patriots they also invite Tea Party big figure Sarah Palin, who may give a speech on how Barack Obama failed to protect “our North Korean allies” from the evil south Korea getting a nuclear weapon.
And for the cultural program I’ld suggest the ZoA invites John McCain to sing his famous “Bomb, bomb, bomb Iran” to the tunes of the Beach Boys.
And, furthermore, I’ld think it would be great if they all could also invite former Saudi Ambassador Bandar Bin Sultan to speak about the dangers of radical Islam.
And, of course, the finish should be a movie of the Leader Bibi’s latest speech to congress where all who appear at the rally shall show how many times they can jump up from their chairs in euphoria.
