‘the last silly gasp of Jewish nationalism in America’

Jack Ross riffs on the recent post about Jewcy:

The who is at least as significant as the what.  Phyllis Chesler, feminist who became a David Horowitz cultist on said basis.  Noah Pollak of Commentary.  Andrew Bostom, collaborator of anti-Muslim wing nut Robert Spencer.  The always stark raving mad Stephen Schwartz aka Comrade Sandalio aka Suleyman Ahmad aka Shakazulu Schwartz-El, The Last King of Scotland.

All under the editorship of committed Eustonite Michael Weiss, whose blog roll includes all their most putrid partisans across the pond – Nick Cohen, Oliver Kamm, David Aaronovitch, all of unimpeachable Stalinist pedigree which has scarcely if at all been renounced.

In
the interest of having some merit to this post beyond indulging my
sectarian peccadilloes, it is worth noting that all of these hip young
outfits like Heeb Magazine and Jewcy.com are funded by the same Elders of Zion as Birthright et al.

They are the silly last gasp of Jewish nationalism in America, analogous to the silly last gasp of black nationalism
in the early-to-mid 90s represented by the hip-hop of that era and the
proliferation of X t-shirts and Kwanzaa.  As we all know, that era
ended almost as quickly as it started with the explosion of the black
bourgeoisie and climaxed with the election of Barack Obama.  The cold hard numbers of 62% intermarriage and disaffection from Israel make it clear where this moment in Jewish history will lead as well.  Yes we can motherf****r!
