Peppers, and PEP, in Brooklyn

I love the idea that a Park Slope, Brooklyn, cooperative food market might end up boycotting persimmons, peppers and mushrooms that it buys from Israel. The idea has created quite a storm, the latest front in the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement. Here's a piece saying it won't happen, at least at the next coop meeting. This story is all about PEP. Progressive Except for Palestine, which characterizes the politics of a lot of leftwing Jews when it comes to Israel. But then, more and more Jews are non-PEP.
