The American Conservative has gone webby. I mean, they were on the web before, of course, but they just got redesigned and it feels webby. Also, there's a podcast on there of me and Scott McConnell talking. McConnell wouldn't put a word in edgewise, I am going to have to interview him some day. One thing I'm proud of saying in that interview: that my career trajectory, from being well-paid in the mainstream to having a tin cup on-line, is conventional. A lot of journalists are now experiencing this. Saying this actually surprised me–McConnell asks good questions–and has gotten me past my arrogant, entitled, narcissistic, victimized feelings about my personal tailspin into this dark room. Let me be an inspiration.
