In the third photograph below, the lady is arguing with Medea Benjamin, of Code Pink. A friend says that the charismatic/wily/creative Benjamin’s commitment to this struggle–having made three anguished trips to Gaza in the last six months, following on from a childhood in a pro-Zionist community on Long Island–has been huge to our side. Truth!

This same woman was also at a public forum last night at The New York Times with Bill Keller. She asked why the paper “wanted to portray Israel as a Goliath, an occupier, settlement builders and unforgiving.”
