Yesterday I did a post on Micha Kurz of Grassroots Jerusalem saying that Israel is facing a civil war over the colonies in the West Bank. And that he won’t have his kid serving in an army of occupation. Well his view is obviously matched by others, in the opposite camp. Tom Ricks picks up this item on IDF soldiers refusing to remove colonists. Ricks:
A battalion hung a sign saying it would refuse to help remove settlers from the West Bank. Can you imagine an American brigade hanging a sign saying something like, "Hell no, we won’t go to Bosnia" or "No More Iraq Deployments!"?
