Conor Friedersdorf tells a (long) story about a blogpost he did suggesting that the U.S. put aid to Israel on the table and the consequences to him: being accused of anti-Semitism and the accusation being echoed here and there on-line . My headline is his headline. I don’t think these letter-writing/blogging campaigns are the only reason journalists avoid the topic; they also get flak from editors and publishers.
