Today in New York is the Celebrate Israel Parade. A lot of politicians will be marching up Fifth Avenue.
A friend was bicycling past Grant’s Tomb on the Upper West Side, when he saw these Jews who belong to the Orthodox group Neturei Karta (which has been fighting Zionism for 100 years), lining up to parade. That’ll be some parade, huh!
My friend writes, “I know that this is not news but still an amazing sight in NYC.”

Makes my heart sing.

And in a neighborhood called home by many NYC “liberal” Jews.

When is the “Celebrate Ireland” parade? When is the “Celebrate Germany” parade? “Celebrate Japan”? “Celebrate Mexico”? “Celebrate UK”?
Here in the US, we celebrate Americans of various ethnicity. Great. Except why are we “celebrating” this alien state? Want to have a “celebrate Jewish-Americans” parade? Awesome. But any American who is pushing the “Celebrate Israel” ideas are traitors to this country.
