Har Bracha is a Jewish settlement outpost that regularly terrorizes the Palestinian village of Burin, whose lands it stole. President Isaac Herzog, who is routinely celebrated by liberals in the U.S., toured the settlement Tuesday and declared that the Jewish people’s connection to that land cannot be “denied or diminished.” So much for all the liberal Zionist talk of a two-state solution that would yield land to Palestinians.

The two-state solution is a mantra inside the Democratic Party and the liberal Establishment but Foreign Affairs dares to ask how many experts think it’s viable and finds that only Israel supporters do so, and as a matter of hope over actual facts on the ground. So daring to ask this verboten question is itself a breakthrough, as Israel lobbyist Robert Satloff indicates. “I am very disappointed that Foreign Affairs is asking this question, which can only contribute to misinformation on an issue that is ultimately all about leadership.”

Dr. Fidaa Wishah

On June 23, 2021, Dr. Fidaa Wishah was fired from her job at Phoenix Children’s Hospital following a campaign calling for her dismissal in response to social media posts she made critical of the State of Israel and its treatment of the Palestinians. Dr. Wishah writes, “I am a Palestinian woman and I dared to speak up against Israel. Phoenix Children’s Hospital and its board terminated me because of who I am and where I come from.” Dr. Wishah has now filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and plans to bring a lawsuit against the hospital.
