Help us amplify Palestinian voices

Your yearly contribution will be matched by a group of generous donors!

It’s good to look back to remind yourself how much progress you have made and what remains to be achieved.

I joined Mondoweiss in 2008. Phil had been running the site on his own for two years, and he invited me to work with him in developing his blog into a formal news website.

I could never have imagined what we would accomplish over the next 15 years. We started as two anti-Zionist American Jews focused on debates within the Jewish community and its impact on U.S. politics. Today we are a geographically diverse staff of 10 people, which includes our growing team of four journalists in Palestine.

Since I joined Phil, Mondoweiss has published over 1,200 authors worldwide. For many, it is their first time being published, like our senior Palestine correspondent Mariam Barghouti who wrote her first journalism piece for Mondoweiss. Today, we continue to offer young writers opportunities other media outlets deny them.

Can you help us create space for the next generation of advocates for justice? We need 200 new monthly donors by the end of next week. If you sign up today, your yearly contribution will be matched by a group of generous donors (up to $25,000.)

As we look to the future, we are expanding the channels through which the entire movement for Palestinian freedom can share their voices, realities, and visions for liberation with the world.

Mondoweiss is working on new strategies to reach folks beyond the choir. We are expanding from our written reporting and analysis to build a broader base and increase pressure for policy change toward Palestine. Important steps in that direction are the growth of our original video production and material exclusively produced for social media by our team in Palestine.

Our video production budget has increased by 400% since last year, and we need to double that number for 2024. Can you fund our next video by setting up a $15 monthly donation?

The growth in our movement and the shifts in the discourse have been almost unimaginable from where Mondoweiss started in 2006, but we still have a long way to go.

Thanks to supporters like you, we have achieved all that we set out to do. We are fortunate to have incredibly steadfast readers and donors who share our mission. I am optimistic that, together, we will make our next leap and can deliver essential news and opinion about the struggle in Palestine to millions around the world.

Can you make this future possible by becoming a donor today?
