My wife, a trendspotter, reports that two couples she knows have now achieved no-see-em divorces. Both couples were highly sensitive to their public image and didn't want the tongues wagging. So when their marriages ran out of gas in middle age, in each case the wife moved to a different place/city and it was explained that she had to go there for her career. Everything was hunkydory, and it all seemed perfectly sophisticated. No one understood this at the time. Well now years have passed in each case and the marriages have been dissolved without the explosion, the gossip, the humiliation, the crushing sense of public failure, the take-no-prisoners friend division, etc. In journalism you're supposed to have three examples to justify a trend but I think this is really happening. And it seems to work.

Blogroll

It's not imaginary, Phil.
Have you noticed the trend of zionist propaganda links on Yahoo and MSN? I usually bet a dollar on the content before clicking, and usually win. Two days ago, MSN had a teaser about the best air force in the world- of course it was the IAF. I found this gem today under a headline about ancient date palms:
great point. and watch, the seed of that little masada tree is going to provide the cure to cancer, not to mention make the desert bloom
.
"My wife, a trendspotter, reports that two couples she knows have now achieved no-see-em divorces."
Watch out … unlike men, who enjoy observing such trends for academic purposes, women usually have a personal reason for making such a remark. Either a friend in such a dilemma, or themselves.
So you might casually offer her this thoughtful reply. It's a joke cracked by Fred Eaglesmith at his recent concert here:
"Remember, no matter how beautiful she is — somebody, somewhere, is TIRED OF HER BULLSHIT!"
I like the thoughts-on-marriage aspect to this blog.
sorry i am dense, but could someone explain connection btw nosee divorce and zionist propaganda spots? aside from that both are disinformation, which is true of almost everything these days.
"sorry i am dense, but could someone explain connection btw nosee divorce and zionist propaganda spots?"
Phil brought up a trend, and I mentioned another trend that might be of interest. Sorry to have interrupted Dr. Phil.
