Those are ads. I think I’ve finally successfully enrolled in Google adsense (after a couple of failures), and they demand top billing for their ads. My links and archives and search are all at the bottom now. Sorry.
I want to monetize this blog so I can put real time into it and lower my anxiety, and make it better. I’m not doing that well so far. But my dream is to build traffic and one day have a few voices on this blog, regular contributors, who pass my litmus tests, of course. I’m probably dreaming, in the tradition of luftmensches and crackpots who populated the Jewish centers in Europe 100 years ago (as Hannah Arendt puts it).
