I just got a note from a friend saying, "I read a brief announcement in the Washington Post obituary page about the death of [92-year-old anti-Zionist] Alfred Lilienthal last Monday. No full obituary has yet appeared, as far as I know." I can't find anything about this on-line. Anybody have the actual paper, anybody know? Thanks.

God rest his beautiful soul. "The Zionist Connection" was one of the books that shooed the misty shadows away from my eyes.

Please drop that hateful tone Sword.
It is distinctly not a sentiment of a mensch.
His old website is now an ebay page. It's sad if he is dead. I have a copy of "What Price Israel" that is autographed. I wonder if it's really his signature?
I never really knew where to place him. His general observations of Israel tend to fit my own- though he was far more experienced and his knowledge more intimate than my own. Sad.
The details of his death are now on Wikipedia. Sad-making.
