Shimon Peres at the World Economic Forum:
"Why did they fire at us? What did they want? We didn’t occupy. There was never a day of starvation in Gaza. By the way, Israel is the supplier of water daily to Gaza. Israel is the supplier of fuel to Gaza."
In a great post over at War in Context, Paul Woodward points out that while Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is getting all the attention, Peres' outright lies and warmongering have gotten let off the hook.

Shimon Peres, Butcher of Qana
The deaths of civilians in Operation Grapes of Wrath and in particular at Qana have been cited by Al-Qaeda as motivations for its actions and policies towards the United States of America.

Thank you for finally posting that! I have been trying to find bloggers (and news) mentioning it. Our SBS in Australia managed to be very un-impartial by presenting the words of Erdogan, but not Peres. He is calling the observances of the UN and other groups lies, yet again.
This is quite a good link, and this (I posted them earlier in your blog)
