Director of Wiesenthal Center calls for starving Palestinian children

by Philip Weiss on February 1, 2009 · 13 comments

Rabbi Martin Hier in the New York Daily News. Hundreds of thousands of students visit his center, and the "museum of tolerance." Hier basically calls the Palestinians Nazis:

There is little doubt that if Gaza is not rebuilt, many civilians will suffer. There will be a shortage of schools, medical facilities and adequate housing. That is truly a tragedy. But the real tragedy is the failure of the world to get it right, to tell the Palestinians, "Never again." World leaders must vow that they are not going to rebuild Gaza again, there will be no Round 3.

There are tens of millions of people in jails around the world for committing crimes, and nobody asks what will happen to their families. The criminals leave nothing but devastation behind – young children with no direction, with no future, families with no breadwinners. But these are the hard consequences that families of murderers, kidnappers, robbers and thieves must endure.

So Rabbi Hier *now* believes in collective punishment?

"One million Arabs are not worth a Jewish fingernail."

At the funeral in Israel of Baruch Goldstein, the American-born Jewish settler who killed at least 29 Muslims at prayer on Feb. 23, 1994, Rabbi Yaacov Perin declared: “One million Arabs are not worth a Jewish fingernail.”

What was the definition of tolerance again?

And I understand calling Gazans Murderers and Kidnappers. But robbers and thieves?

Could someone approach the man and ask him what is it that Palestinians robbed Israelis of and what did/do they steal?

I am sick and tired of hate filled war mongering rabbis.

Compared to them the Catholic priests who have sexualy abused children are saints.

Are the semantics too much for you, Eva?

Orwell

"Doublethink means the power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one's mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them.

Every war when it comes, or before it comes, is represented not as a war but as an act of self-defense against a homicidal maniac.

War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength. "

This organization needs to be challenged just like ADL. They take public money from the taxpayers of California, to miseducate children about tolerance. This is unbelievable. Children are learning tolerance from Baruch Goldstein.

Only in your mind. It appears you never left 8th grade when you read "1984".

When Egypt threatened war with Israel, they said nothing about israel being a homocidal maniac, just Jewish.

Such Jewish genocidalist ideas have been floating around Neocon and Orthodox circles for a long time. See Jewish Advocacy of Genocide.

Note that Rabbi Salomon is Aish haTorah's theorist of genociding Palestinians.

This list of blog entries identifies the connections of Aish haTorah among the rich and powerful.

As a matter of intellectual history, I believe I can trace ethnic Ashkenazi genocidal eugenic theory back to the 18th century.

How should one not tolerate the intolerance of the Museum of Tolerance? Don't buy tickets to their walrus comedy show.

"Israeli TV viewers have lately been exposed to a bizarre sight: army officers appearing with their faces hidden, as usual for criminals when the court prohibits their identification. Pedophiles, for example, or attackers of old women.

"On the orders of the military censors, this applies to all officers, from battalion commanders down, who have been involved in the Gaza war."

Black Flag

Actually, victims are masked by TV. Criminals, like Hamas members, where ski masks all of the time.

But where's the part where he calls for the starvation of Palestinian children, as per the headline?

The viewer is only allowing me to look through page 67, but it appears the effects of the dismantlement of the Ottoman Empire are only discussed in the Turkish context even though the vivisection was a major input into Indian colonial politics and had strong effects even as far away as Malaysia.

With an intact Ottoman empire, Oil politics would have been completely different, and the Zionist project would have been eradicated some time in the 1920s.

The elimination of the most highly evolved sharia state that was for all intents and purposes as much a Rechstaat in its central region as contemporary Germany or the UK changed the way salafists talked about sharia as they reverted to models from the 18th century and earlier.
