Israel is 2-parter on ‘Al-Jazeera,’ 5-parter on French radio, no-parter on American broadcasting

Al-Jazeera has a two-part exploration of the Israel lobby. Idrees Ahmad points out that you’d never see this on the BBC. Or on PBS. Steve Walt is interviewed, so are Jim Lobe, Anatol Lieven, and Ilan Pappe. Wow.
Meantime, one a French man living in English, tells me that the "extremely popular radio show "la bas si j’y suis" of Daniel Mermet on the radio France Inter (first French public radio, second radio generally speaking), dedicated an entire week earlier this month to the Israel Lobby in Washington." An hour a day for five days!

Lekouara continues: "’La bas si j’y suis" is a left-wing show (French left-wing, not quite American-like left-wing!) that has been going on for 20 years on France Inter. Daniel Mermet has interviewed everybody around W&M, including long interviews of the 2 authors, Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson (Powell former chief of staff, writer of the infamous talk at the UN; Mermet kind of links Irak with AIPAC), Bill and Kathleen Christison (former CIA), and even Dershowitz (linking Arafat to Nazis)."
Here are the links: Part 1, now Part 2, and Part 3, and Part 4, last, Part 5. Lekouara tells me that Wilkerson refers openly to the "Jewish lobby" on Part 4. Click on the 15h23- 15h28 extract and skip directly to the last 10 percent.
All these Americans, on foreign outlets! Our journalism is broken…
