I said to my wife, "What do you think the motive is in the Yale murder?"
"He told her to clean up and she got a little snippy about it."
"Is there a sexual angle?"
"No. We all have these differences. And this is a fight over slobbiness taken to the nth degree."
(This is a big neverending issue in my marriage.)

Curious though that he joined the Asia student club in high school.
Phil, I know you’re being tongue-in-cheek here, but there’s some obsessive quality to the act. Probably a sexual angle — guy called her on a weekend to the lab? A week before she was getting married? We’ll learn what the emails and the IMs say in due time.
not tongue in cheek. though yes i agree the suspect seems really scary and awful
And for at least two weeks Phil did pick up his dirty socks much more frequently…
LOL. I find it difficult on a daily basis to clean up and pick up after myself too–I often think I have better things to do–like read, think and write for no money about stuff I have no power to change in the slightest. However, periodically I go to the other extreme and clean, polish, reset, restyle, and fix everything in sight. Usually that’s
for holiday company or rare guests, or even service people keeping an appointment.
I never, ever write anything about what my wife says, not after I found out she shot her first husband.
He lived, although he limps, and she got off, thanks to a symapthetic Your Honoress (“Men, they’re all the same! Case dismissed! You’re free to go, honey!”)
