The Palm Beach Democratic Party dropped Rep. Dennis Kucinich as the keynote speaker at their fundraiser after objections that he is too critical of Israel. County Democratic Chairman Mark Alan Siegel, who had invited the Ohio Congressman, explained:
People feel he’s anti-Israel. I don’t read it that way, but the leadership of AIPAC (the American Israel Public Affairs Committee) and other elements of the Jewish community do and I don’t want to get into an argument with them.
Who does? Did anyone say AIPAC is not all that powerful anymore? I read that JStreet is presenting a significant challenge to that once omnipotent organization. Maybe someone could suggest to JStreet that they intiate one of their email campaigns to protest AIPAC’s boycott of Kucinich.
Hey, if you didn’t get it, this is a joke. If you questioned JStreet, you would find out that that they do not want to get within nine miles of Kucinich, preferring to endorse pro-Israel politicians like Rep. Robert Wexler .
Maybe Kucinich is just too critical of Israel.

Maybe Kucinich is just too critical of Israel.
Seriously?
Surely, that was tongue in cheek, right?
Kucinich’s allotted two minute speech to his peers against ditching the Goldstone Report (before the vote) was a wonderful speech. He’s one courageous and ethical congressman!
I wonder if AIPAC is a house of cards?
Maybe they can have George Allen speak at the event to clean up his dirty ‘macaca’ past?
He’s is recently found out he’s half-Jewish, as his monkey name-calling led to his discovery of his Jewish roots. Perhaps AIPAC would accept that.
Who needs Kucinich when you can have a Jew who knows what ‘real america’ is like.
Jewish donors. Enough said.
Kucinich is not TOO critical of Israel. He is one of the few congresspersons who are at all critical of Israel. The rest quake in their boots when their own AIPAC-supplied intern walks by.
Kucinich has miraculously survived intensive efforts by AIPAC to unseat him in Democratic primaries. He deserves loyal support from all who want to take back US foreign policy from the Israel Lobby.
Is this what Witty was talking about when he said a “full democracy” is impossible as long as Jews don’t get their own exclusive country into which they should all migrate? Anyone else having as much trouble telling the core values of Zionism apart from Nazism as I do?
