From Ma'an. The French National Front is far right, and has neo-Nazi friends. Now who is delegitimizing Israel?
Israel's ambassador to the UN Ron Prosor attended a luncheon for France's National Front leader Marine Le Pen "by accident," his spokeswoman told AFP on Thursday.
Prosor attended the event in honor of the far-right leader at the United Nations in New York. It was Le Pen's first meeting with an Israeli official.
Prosor's spokeswoman Karean Peretz told AFP that the ambassador's attendance was the result of a misunderstanding. She did not elaborate.
The French newspaper Le Monde reported that Prosor told reporters before entering the event: "I am a free man." After the meeting, he told reporters: "We value diversity of opinions."

An accident in his unmentionables I reckon:
“Le Pen herself was quoted by French news agencies on Saturday, saying that the Israeli ambassador’s presence at the event “was not an error.” According to Le Pen, “Please, no one actually imagines that the ambassador burst through the wrong door.”
“The National Front leader added, “It is impossible to converse with Marine Le Pen for 20 minutes without knowing who she is.” According to Le Pen, “There was nothing unclear or ambiguous about our meeting.”

This was only a matter of time. Europe’s new hard right has long idolized Israel.
In fact, even hardliner Lieberman reprimanded one of his underlings for meeting with people who had neo-nazi connections, because they espouse a ‘pro-Israel’ bent.
Now, to be fair, Marine is turning sharply away from her father’s anti-Semitic legacy. She has been outright pandering to Jews. She’s instead focusing on what every anti-immigrant party in Europe does: the ‘creeping threat’ of Islam, and adding to that a strong, even ultra, convinction of Zionism.
If they keep at it long enough, some Jews, sadly, are going to buy it. Here’s the Israeli media on the previous such attempt by the Israeli gov’t:

Whaddya mean, ‘buy it’. They are actively promoting and inciting it. You reap what you sow, and Israel sows racism and hate towards Muslim Europeans.
something about birds of a feather flying together?
I’d like Mooser here to visualise the accident by which the Israeli ambassador arrived at Le Pens meeting. Please.
It takes one to know one.
Same in the UK. The BNP, Britain’s own fascist, use Israel in their literature as an example to all racists and Klan admirers of how to get rid of ‘undesirables’, with the wrong skin colour or parents. And as we know, Israel cultivates allies in all manner of nefarious ways.
Alert hophmi and the rest of the Zionist shortbus.
Where are you guys to accuse the Israeli government of antisemitism?
No, you only do that to peace groups, intellectuals, activists, etc. who don’t agree with your tin-foil-hat-world-view of Israel-Palestine.
Given the Transfer Agreement with the Nazis, and the other fact that Israel retained its close relationship with apartheid S Africa longer than any country, this coziness with the EU neo-right wing is just more whole cloth stitched up in Zionism’s tailor shop.
Also, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Hell, Hannity had a segment with Pam Gellar recently–maybe Obermann should have Phil on?
Come on.
They could make up a better excuse than this “by accident” b**s**t.
They really think people are tHAT stupid.
“By accident”, he could have taken a sip of wine from La Pen’s glass ,
not to show up at a party.
I don’t think ambassadors are the ones, who crash a party.
They usually show up invited.
But then, what do I know?
It looks from this video, that this “free man” really had “no” idea ,where he was going.
He just went .where the wind pushed him.
He actually did drink some wine at the paaarty.
Maybe he, “by accident “, took a few sips from Marine Le Pen’s glass ,and this explains
“by accident theory” of “misunderstanding”.

MY COMMENT: Norman Finkelstein, Desmond Tutu and Noam Chomsky (just to name a few people) will be relieved to hear that!
FROM WIKIPEDIA:
yeap.” We value diversity of opinions”.
And Stalin, after winnig “free” elections with 100% voices said: “there was never, ever such a democracy like ours”.
He didn’t mention though, that those, who would dare not to vote for him could say bye, bye to a daylight.
Stay classy, Ron. What was this guy thinking?
Israel has to be pissed at the French voted yes on the Unesco vote for Palestine
I think you nailed, it. Israel, via Prosor, was sending a message to Sarkozy, “vote our way” , or we will support your opposition, however batshit crazy.
so what’s changed? zionist leaders break bread with whoever serves their purpose. it’s happened before and will happen again. neo, or old school they’ve worked with them before and i guess they will work with them in the future. kinda gross but no one should be surprised.
Fascists of the world, Unite!
Zionism is such a form of national socialism. In the 19th new groups of ‘people’ emerged in Europe that had never been referred to such in the same way before, such as the Italian people, the German people, and the Jewish people. In the 20th century leaders of these ‘peoples’ emerged who maintained that they needed to purify their societies and claim lands they to which they had an ancient right and in which anyone who was not the right kind of ‘people’ who have to leave or accept 2nd class status. Mussolini told Italians that ‘a great people needs space’ and that the Meditteranean was ‘Mare Nostra’ (Our Sea). The National Socialist German Workers (NAZI) party claimed ‘lebensraum’ in eastern europe. Zionists claimed Palestine, although they hesitated and almost opted for other places like uganda. Zionism is colonial and fascism combined. Israel is Europe’s last colony.
On the logic: Any enemy of my enemy is a friend of mine.
Le Pen and his gang are against the fast growing arab population of France, thus a good partner for Israel.
