Nice movie. Cartoons and useful quotes and attractive women, way to go.

  2. Mike_Konrad says:

The Danny Ayalon video was flawed.
    But so is this video.

When Rome re-captured Jerusalem in 69AD, they minted coins saying Iudaea capta. (Judah captured). Prior to 69 AD, it was called Iudae (Judah) nor Palestine by the Romans. Only after the enforced diaspora did the Romans rename it Palestine.

History of the Iudaea Capta coinage

I am aware of Herodotus, and Aristotle. They referred to a region Syria-Palestina, as we would refer to North America. This does not make too much of a case.

Jesus referred to himself as a Jew, not a Palestinian.

John 4:22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews.

    Jesus is not a Palestinian.

Oddly the only claim for a prior Palestinian state is the Crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem.

So the Crusader Kingdom is the best you can come up with for a Palestinian state; or at most, a state with the Palestinian boundaries.

      It was 100% BS.

Irrelevant. The coins referred to a prophecy from Isaiah. The Romans NEVER referred to the region as anything but Palestine, as their maps illustrate.

I am aware of Herodotus, and Aristotle. They referred to a region Syria-Palestina, as we would refer to North America. This does not make too much of a case.

Yes it does. They referred to territory, be it a region or a state. Same thing.

      Jesus is not a Palestinian.

      True, he never existed.

Oddly the only claim for a prior Palestinian state is the Crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem.

Not so oddly, you are talking out of your hat.

Pierre Orts, chairman of Mandate Commission of the League Of Nations:
“The mandate, in Article 7, obliged Mandatory to enact a nationality law, which again showed Palestinians formed a nation, & that Palestine was a State, though provisionally under guardianship. It was, moreover, unnecessary to labor the point; there was no doubt whatever that Palestine was a separate political entity.”

So the best you can come up with is recycled hasbara.

I’ll bite. When did Jesus refer to himself as a Jew?

      • Walid says:

“I’ll bite. When did Jesus ever call himself a Jew?”

As usual, inaccurate choice of words by Mike; it’s fun seeing a Zionist , struggling for change, to identify Jesus as a Jew.

Actually it does. You either need to think harder or use the Google to learn the commonly accepted interpretation.

No it doesn’t. If it proved that Jesus referred to himself as a Jew, it would be apparent from your quote and you wouldn’t be insisting I Google it.

Now you just being willfully ignorant, the reason I suggested Google is because you so obviously cannot understand it. So go ahead and refuse to learn what the passage means, it’s your loss.

No, the reason you suggested Google is the reason all hasbarats suggest Google – because they have no argument and use it to stall for time. You could just as easily have provided a link which supported your claim…if one existed.

    • talknic says:

@ Mike_Konrad “The Danny Ayalon video was flawed”

Correction. The video of Danny Ayalon lying is perfect for showing people how the Hasbara can be easily disproven by the very documents he cites, by Jewish Agency statements leading up to Israel’s declaration and Israeli Government statements after declaration.

It’s very handy for showing fence sitters that people like Ayalon will even break the most basic of Judaisms tenets in order to try to justify the unjustifiable. Lying on behalf of the Jewish state, really quite bizarre!!!

BTW What Palestine was or was not called and your WikIPedia links are completely irrelevant to the Internationally recognized extent of Israel’s sovereignty and Israel’s illegal activities as the Occupying Power over non-Israeli territories, according to International Law, the UN Charter and relevant conventions all of which are binding.

    • eGuard says:

The Danny Ayalon video was flawed. Wrong. All lies were 100% correct untruths.

Which lie do you know to be true? And why didn’t you tell him to correct that?

    • American says:

”Jesus referred to himself as a Jew, not a Palestinian…..Mike_Konrad>>>>

LOL…..Jews were Arabs nitwit—-Jesus was an Arab—-the Christians, the Jews the pagans, they were all Arabs in Arabia.
If you claim you are descended from the ancient Jews of CE 70 then your actual genetic heritage is Arab.
How you gonna get around that?

Meanwhile the Religious Nuts vr the Religious Nuts goes on and on….

President George W. Bush is scheduled to keynote a

  3. Shingo says:

Bravo girls. This was a long time in coming, but late is better than never.

  4. shams says:

I wish it weren’t annoying, but it is. Like should be met with like: take a serious tone! (She *is* very beautiful, but still.)

    • Bumblebye says:

Uh, shams, there were *two* of them, not one! Almost certainly not twins either, as one had an English accent and one an American accent. And two are credited!

  5. Walid says:

Great work by the 2 Palestinian ladies. Ayalon is the creep who, along with Livni a couple of years back proposed transfering Palestinian-Israeli towns to a new Palestine on the WB in exchange for the settlements that would be incorporated into Israel.

Looking forward to the same 2 Palestinians tearing apart Ayalon’s second video from 2011 in which he is also standing there with a straight face spewing lies about “The Truth About Refugees:

    link to youtube.com

These 2 beautiful and smart girls sure give a more realistic impression of what and who Palestinians are really about than the stuttering bumbling Erekat. Another great and eloquent Palestinian voice that we don’t hear enough from is Diana Buttu.

    • Walid says:

BTW, “The Truth About Refugees” video of Ayalon that was made by the Stand With Us people blended with Ayalon’s international campaign to get recognition for Israel’s plan of offsetting eventual Palestinian claims against Israel for the expulsions against claims by Jews alleged to have been expelled from Arab countries. It’s bogus of course, but the concept was automatically favourable to American legislators, like mostly anything else that has to do with Israel’s interest.

  6. eljay says:

Informative video. And, yes, nice ladies, too. :-)

But it could have done with less of the sarcasm and silly voices. IMO, that sort of thing detracts from / weakens a presentation whose point appears to be to provide a serious and valid rebuttal to Israeli propaganda.

  7. Elliot says:

Looks great. One mistake that should be cleaned up in the voiceover (around 4:24). Menahem Begin obviously was not the prime minister in the Six Day War. The cartoon image gets it right.

  8. Minor flaws aside, this is a powerful rebuttal. Could have come earlier, but I’m glad they produced it.

I covered this back when Ayalon’s BS first was published, in a firedoglake diary called “Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon Annexes Jordan on Youtube.”

    link to my.firedoglake.com

Now I’m going to write another one, featuring the efforts of Ms. Sawalha and Ms. Dajani.

Klaus cites John 4:22, which is an interesting verse, part of a conversation that probably never occurred, but is generally believed to have happened, by Christians, especially fundamentalists (duh!). In 4:26, Jesus responds to a question about the immanence of a messiah with, “Yeshua said to her, “I, the person speaking to you, am he.”" (New Jewish Bible)

The exchange is purported to have occurred in Sh’khem, which is now called Nablus. It is in Palestine, under PNA authority. In 2002, the IDF severely damaged the Greek Orthodox shrine over where this probably non-existent conversation is alleged to have happened.

  9. kayq says:

This is a great video, and I hope they bust more of Danny Ayalon’s bullshit videos!

    • Shingo says:

Actually there is a lot more bullshit in the Ayalon video that they still need to bust.

Like so many Zionist propagandists, Ayalon skips right over the Balfour Declaration, and goes straight to the LON without addressing how Balfour defined “Jewish Natuonal Home”.

Ayalon also make the BS claim that Transjordan was included and that the Jews made a “painful” concession by giving it up.

Those are just some of the points I remember from the video when it first came out .

  10. Ludwig says:

Video makes me cringe. Nobody takes these loudmouths seriously especially since the majority of this video is a straw man argument. It’s not that the people don’t exist. It’s just there never was a “Palestinian” state and there never will be.

    • Shingo says:

It’s just there never was a “Palestinian” state and there never will be.

False. The Mandate itself recognized that Palestine was a state and that Palestinians were citizens of that state.

    • Talkback says:

Ludwig says: “It’s just there never was a “Palestinian” state and there never will be.”

Ludwig, I know it’s different in the Kahane continuum, but in this universe Palestine under mandate was and today under occupation is a recognized state.

    • talknic says:

@ Ludwig “It’s just there never was a “Palestinian” state “

Strange….. The LoN Mandate FOR Palestine first line refers to the LoN Covenant Article 22 which tells us there was a Palestinian state with provisional recognition. The state existed, the recognition was provisional.

  11. Kathleen says:

Great clip all ready shared. Hey even in the Hollywood propaganda film for Israel “Exodus” Paul Newman refers to Palestine many times
