The Independent is pushing a story that Amy Teibel of AP got out yesterday, that 42 percent of the West Bank is now occupied by Israeli settlers (yes and how much of the water?). "Exposed: the truth about Israel’s landgrab," says the Independent headline. I would just like to point out that Richard Goldstone reported this a year ago. Paragraph 198: "According to United Nations sources, almost 40 per cent of the West Bank is now taken up by Israeli infrastructure associated with the settlements, including roads, barriers, buffer zones and military bases." Some day this report will have the honor it deserves. Yes, and how much of the water?
