Psst– see Palestinian prisoners as human beings, worthy of the same sympathy as non-Palestinian prisoners

Great video. Gilad Shalit was not the only human being imprisoned… B’Tselem says that 5000 Palestinians have been in prison longer than Shalit was….

Set Shalit’s treatment by Hamas against the treatment of Palestinians by Israeli forces:
Boy of 15 beaten so badly his testicles had to be surgically removed
30yr old man shaken repeatedly until he fell into a coma and died
Man left paraplegic after 4days of questioning under torture

What I see (on the video screen) is: “Sorry. This video does not exist”

Saw the excellent clip once and now it is gone. Where can we find it ?

Five thousand? Yeah, but they’re all terrorists and according to Christiane Amanpour, they’re, “[H]ardcore Hamas activists.” Problem solved.

Question for you all:

On Facebook, I have a Zionist/Jewish/Israeli-Ukrainian-US national “friend” who wrote the following in response to my posting of ynetnews’s article about Gilad’s malnourished (read: Gazan) diet while held as a prisoner of war.

“Gazans can get nutritious food, but like most people in the world they have to work for it (either grow it themselves or exchange it for goods and services). Instead they CHOSE to be represented by a government whose priorities are religious wars, murder or their political opponents, firing rockets at children just because the children happen to be of different race, encouraging unlimited reproduction, etc. Why should it be our problem what they eat if they willingly and knowingly chose this lifestyle? If one day they prioritize food over jihad, they can easily get it. Unlike the West/Israel, muslims have all the cards: it is up to them to have war or prosperity.
On a side note, if Muslims value their own men as 1/1000 of the enemy , how come they always whine about disproportional retaliation?”

Besides his Zionistic propaganda and logic, I am itching to respond in a grande manner to debunk his myths… but, and here’s my question: is it worth it?

I have had multiple lengthy “discussions” with him before and he just draws upon Zionist references to state his Zionist right-wing ideology, but he comes back for more… Do I ignore or engage?
