Also, more than half the world’s Muslims live in Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Turkey, and each of these four countries has elected a woman head of government, something the US has not managed to do.
Public pronouncements about the correlation between certain religions and rape rates requires a bit more space than a tweet allows. Oates seems to be a graduate of the Bill Maher School of Religion: I don’t like any of them, but Islam is the worst.
