Yesterday I suggested that bankers Herb and Marion Sandler, who were savaged on "Saturday Night Live" last Saturday as "people who should be shot" because of the deal they cut with Wachovia, were funders of, among other libleft causes, J Street. The alternative lobby's executive director, Jeremy Ben-Ami, tells me the Sandlers are not. Apologies to all.
