The Des Moines Register profiles a non-Zionist:
[Jamie] Woodson's story is the political awakening of a left-leaning liberal.
She
followed Northern Ireland politics growing up, then South African
politics while at Drake University. It wasn't until 2004 that she first
helped organize a political rally: an Iraq war protest in Des Moines.
…Now,
her activist efforts are centered on the 25-mile strip of land on the
Mediterranean Sea, packed with 1.4 million Palestinians.
Some people call Woodson anti-Semitic, but she shrugs off the accusation.

"They
always say that," Woodson says. "I really don't know what that means. I
don't speak that language. I don't know how helping people who are
oppressed is anti-Semitic. … I always tell people I'm pro-Israel. I'm
pro-Palestine. I'm pro-humanity."
