Chris Lydon is a venerable print journalist now gone radio and internet with the rest of us. He and I have a good conversation about Jewish identity and Israel/Palestine here at Radio Open Source.
Ali Gharib picked up the best moment in the interview, when I say that non- and anti-Zionists are closeted largely in Jewish families. I said that non-Zionists need to come out in the Jewish family the same way that Lance Loud came out on TV back in the first reality show and struck a blow for gay rights and a new consciousness. The Loud family opened its soul to change America, and I want a Jewish family to do that, just as publicly.
