The demands for Marc Lamont Hill’s head from supporters of Israel that evidently led to his firing by CNN as well as expressions of solidarity from Palestinian supporters show that the end of the two-state-solution is bringing about open ideological conflict in the U.S. establishment, with supporters of Palestinians being accused of anti-Semitism, much as they are in the U.K.  

NJ Senator Cory Booker used the Pittsburgh massacre to justify taking a stance against Palestinian rights by co-sponsoring a Senate bill that criminalizes forms of support for BDS. The Jewish group BDS has mounted a campaign to stop Booker from signing on to the bill.

Palestinians often seek travel outside of Gaza during the Eid holiday, however, this year Israel partially sealed the Erez Crossing on Sunday limiting travel to humanitarian cases.
