Rachel Maddow appears to justify the U.S. boycott of the U.N.'s racism conference in Geneva. Disappointed. Maddow comes out of my world: alt-privileged lefties in the northeast who don't go in for Establishment values. Feels sellout-ish. Rachel, spend some political capital on this. There's daylight.

    Of course Rachel Maddow is as PEP as they get. Her reaction to the slaughter in Gaza was loathsome. She came rushing to Israel's defense talking about the only democracy in the near east, blah,blah,blah, and not the mildest of criticism of Israel's murderous war crimes. Her comments wouldn't have been much different if they had been written by the Israeli Embassy. (In contrast, remember Jon Stewart courageous commentary "Strip Maul.") But then MSNBC is "occupied territory" as is Mark Green's Air America from whence she came as you've already pointed out previously.

    If she doesn't know, or claims not to know on a political TV news show who Saban is, or his Center — then how can she seriously discuss the dynamics of our foreign policy debate in the US [let alone the Democratic party] — The Saban Center is one of the largest well connected political think tanks in Washington DC. Also, Saban is one of the Democratic party's most influencial power brokers, financial backer and person that uses his clout to push policies supporting Israel's point of view — So, when she comes up with shit like this — I don't know how she expects us to respond– Be impressed? Or, to come to the conclusion that we can't take much stock in her pundit ramblings about what she thinks about Israeli, Palestinian, or even Iranian issues in the news.

    Or anon is she just there to be the pretty gay girl next to Andrea Mitchell? Keep your mouth shut Rachel when Andrea is trying to teach you something?
