Why no condolences from Obama to David Cameron?

Last week we did a couple of posts about Obama and Romney falling over each other to express their condolences to Benjamin Netanyahu on the passing of his 102-year-old father Benzion.

Well just to solidify the point of how craven and corrupt this is, note that British P.M. David Cameron lost his father in 2010 (Max Blumenthal informs me). Ian Cameron was a “hero” to his son– kind of like Benzion for Benjamin Netanyahu.

Ian Cameron, 77, was born with both legs deformed, and endured repeated operations in an attempt to straighten them and ease his pain.

Despite his disability he forged a successful career as a stockbroker and is a former director of estate agent John D Wood.

I’ve searched the White House site pretty thoroughly. I’ve done a google search or two too. And I can find no expression of condolences by Obama to David Cameron on the passing of his father. And yes, this is further evidence of Wolman’s point, Israel is sucking up all the oxygen in the White House, demanding endless expenditure of political capital.

Because Cameron cannot install Obama in the white house. Its not rocket science Phil.

Your research puts me in the wrong. I thought the “protocol” officer at WH made sure to send appropriate stuff to ALL world-leader pols on occasions like this. Didn’t Merkel send a congrats message to Hollande after the French election?

Maybe he doesn’t like Cameron?

This is likely a call Obama would have made on his own cell, which he famously has refused to give up. Out of respect for Cameron, you’re not going to see references to this call in the press or in any WH logs.

The situation is likely the opposite of what’s suggested. The inference is that Obama and Cameron are on a much closer level than Obama and Bibi Yahoo, to whom condolences on a personal loss must be exploited publicly for whatever AIPAC value they may have.

Well noted. Nothing passes Max Blumenthal by…and you of course PW.
