Raw power, talent and beauty streaming from Tahani Salah at the 2013 ADC National Convention in Washington DC last weekend. I’m goose-pimpled blown away listening to her spoken word performance of “Thunder”.
Salah is a Brooklyn-born Palestinian, an activist and an educator. She was also featured in Deaf Jam an award winning documentary about a deaf teen who enters the New York spoken word slam scene after embarking on a collaboration/performance duet with Salah.
