Alas Haaretz is also succumbing. It reports that there were pro-Israel demonstrations around the world to counter "anti-semitic demonstrations." A photo Haaretz uses shows a young man with long hair holding a sign in New York: "Kick Hamas' Ass." That sign just showed up on Fox News in New York, too.
I should say that from attending years of New York Salute to Israel parades, that is one of the more tame signs I've seen. The Salute to Israel parade was the only place I wanted there to be a pen for protesters. I always compared it to being like one of those deep sea
filmmakers who get dropped into a school of sharks in a steel cage. Not a pleasant experience.
